This Thursday, Sept 4, the L. Russ Bush Center for Faith and Culture (the CFC) will host a one-day conference on the timing, nature, and purpose of the Rapture of the Church. The event begins with Ed Hindson speaking in Binkley Chapel at 10 a.m. on “Can we still believe in the Rapture?”
Three afternoon sessions will be held at the conference room of the CFC (Patterson Hall, 2nd floor). William Watson speaks on “The Rapture before Darby” at 1:00 p.m., Michael Rydelnik speaks on “Israel, the Church, and the Tribulation,” at 2:00 p.m., and then at 3:00 p.m. Danny Akin will join the speakers for a panel discussion.
Craig Blaising will cap the conference with his lecture at 7:00 p.m. given at the Wake Forest Baptist Church. His topic is entitled “The Rapture and the Day of the Lord.” The conference promises to be helpful and enlightening to all, regardless of one’s perspective concerning eschatology.
