Don’t say we didn’t invite you. The International Society of Christian Apologetics (ISCA) is holding its annual meeting on SEBTS’ campus April 29-30. The topic is “The Problem of Evil” and the featured speakers are Paul Copan (Professor and Pledger Family Chair of Philosophy and Ethics at Palm Beach Atlantic University) and Bruce Little (Professor of Philosophy of Religion and Director of the Bush Center for Faith & Culture at SEBTS). In addition, the ISCA’s breakout sessions are led by 40 speakers including Norman Geisler, Mark Liederbach, Michael Travers, Phil Roberts, Chad Meister, James K. Dew and others. The ISCA exicsts “to foster scholarly discussion of ideas among evangelical scholars relevant to the defense of the historic Christian Faith in accordance with the Doctrinal Statement of the Society.” Further, the Society also provides encouragement and fellowship for scholars across the disciplines working to underscore the truth of Bible-based Christian belief, as they seek to strengthen the Church in its task of upholding the Saviorhood and Lordship of Jesus Christ.
